After swapping the East Coast of Canada for the West, now residing in Whistler, BC, ElkoDubz (Alex Woitas) aims to not only overwhelm you with bass but to crawl under your skin so you can feel it from within. He focuses on a variety of 140 dubstep flavours, often incorporating elements of jungle, DnB, or left field. Whether opening, headlining, or closing, Elko’s seamless transitions across the realms of bass music consistently immerse dance floors in states of delirium. With a growing number of original productions in Elko’s arsenal, a genre-bending, mind-pulsing and captivating set is guaranteed Since co-founding the Sea to Sound Collective in 2022, Elko has played a crucial role in helping develop and grow the local dubstep scene in the Sea to Sky, providing a spotlight for local artists whilst using connections made along the way to bring legends of the genre such as Youngsta, Abstrakt Sonnance & Hypho.

In 2022, Alex bought a sound system with Danik Savioe (dSav) and co-founded the Sea to Sound Collective which is an up and coming multi genre crew of like minded individuals in the Sea to Sky. Known for their Summer raves in intimate locations around Whistler, the S2SC ran their first takeover at Après Après - 'Sub Planetary' for a sold out show, and most recently hosting the likes of International heavy hitters Youngsta, Hypho and Abstrakt Sonance. Proving Bass music is alive and well in the sea to sky and isn't going anywhere any time soon....

The two fathers of the Sea to Sound Collective dSav and ElkoDubz combine to create the ultimate 140 Dubstep and Drum n Bass duo 'InfusionZ.' Whereas most duos in the scene have very similar styles of set, dSav and Elko take pride in their differences, with dSav's high octane energetic bounce, combined with Elko's darker, gritty and grimy tracks, the perfect balance between light and dark is formed. The 1-2 punch creates an experience like no other and is a guaranteed hit on any deck they lay their hands upon.
